Lúcia Martins

Born in 1986 in Almada, Portugal, Lúcia Martins has been drawing as a hobby ever since she was a little girl. Heavily influenced by Japanese animation and the music that’s been a part of her life for almost 25 years.
Currently striving to become a self-taught illustrator within the Manga style. Her specialty: manga portraits of her music heroes. Her artwork received praise from Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates/The Haunted/The Lurking Fear/ ex-Vallenfyre/ex-Paradise Lost/ex-Cradle Of Filth), Peter Hook (ex-Joy Division/ex-New Order/ Peter Hook and The Light) and Kevin “Nivek Ogre” Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy/ohGr). Love for the arts is what drives her, and all her works carry a piece of her heart. Labor of emotion at all times.
Weapons of choice: COPIC markers, graphite pencils and Sakura Pigma Micron liners/Pigma brush pen.
